Survey: More kids hospitalized for alcohol

LONDON, May 22 (UPI) -- Nearly 5,000 British children under the age of 18 were hospitalized in 2007 because they drank too much alcohol, government data revealed.Averaged out, the National Health Service data indicated almost 100 children a week wound up in hospital because of drinking alcohol, The Daily Telegraph reported Friday. Couple denies children taken into care because of excess alcohol
