Fast food chains fail test for healthy kids' meals

Oldsmar, Florida - 5-year-old Luke Funair can list which fast food restaurant has what toys, and that isn't the end to his talents.

Washington, July 15 : A new study has revealed that 89 percent of children's food products lack proper nutrition, with 62 percent of them still making health claims on the packaging.A detailed study was made of 367 products, and it was discovered that nine out of ten regular food items aimed specifically at children have a poor nutritional content, because of the high levels of sugar, fat or sodium.It was further found that sugar was the main contributor of calories in 70 percent of the products, which specifically excluded confection ....
