VANCOUVER - A Vancouver mother says a $7,000 insulin pump helped bring back her 11 year-old daughter's childhood.Cheryl Simpson says diabetes was ruling little Ellery's life until an insulin pump paid for by the family allowed her to better control her Type 1 diabetes.Before that, Simpson says her daughter endured the burden of needles five times a day and constantly had to manage her diet to control blood sugar levels.Simpson is joining Opposition health critic Adrian Dix's call on the B.C. government to fund the expensive pump so di ....
